Wow, just wow. Thinking back on this past year, I almost get emotional because there are soooo many beautiful memories and so much to be grateful for 🙏🏼. 2019 was also a year of extreme growth and rediscovering who I am and what I want out of life as a newly single parent. This was not always easy and sometimes an extremely painful process. However, if I could re-live any year of my life, it would be 2019 without a doubt.
In 2019 I:
✨traveled to Iceland
✨explored glaciers, volcanoes, mountains, geysers, waterfalls, and ice caves; visited the Sólheimasandur plane crash site and Blue Lagoon ✨saw the northern lights 💫
✨competed in my first regional ballroom competition in Fort Walton, FL
✨got invited to DC twice to write an international HR exam
✨traveled to Peru with my dance studio
✨visited Lima, Cusco and got to spend the night on Machu Picchu 😍😍😍
✨got promoted to HR Manager at my company
✨visited Las Vegas for the first time to attend the national SHRM (Society of HR Management) conference
✨went on a helicopter tour above the vegas strip 😍
✨traveled back to Vegas to compete at the Fred Astaire World championships
✨went zip lining for the first time
✨graduated with my master’s degree in HR Management from FIU
✨became a certified Zumba instructor and started teaching at LA Fitness
✨competed in USDC (United States Dance Championships) and NDC (National Dance Championships) in Orlando
✨lost an additional 20lbs, putting me at a grand total of 65lbs lost in the last year and a half. Officially in the best shape of my life and excited to push it even further in 2020 💕
