Everything starts in your imagination. The food you eat, the clothes you wear, the house or apartment you live in, etc. Everything is a manifestation of your thoughts (whether conscious or unconscious), and the decisions you make based upon the vision you hold in your head. Your thoughts are the building blocks of your reality. Your dominant thoughts become your beliefs, as your beliefs are based on the stories you tell yourself over and over again. That story and those beliefs then become your identity.
It’s important to note that your reality can be changed at ANY point simply by changing the thoughts you tell yourself on a consistent basis. In order to do this, we need to work backwards. For example, we can’t just on command change the story we’ve identified with and held onto for years. We need to work backwards and start changing single thoughts, one at a time.
Remember, humans have approximately 60,000 thoughts in a day, so it’s impossible to examine every one of them. An easier way to monitor your thoughts is to consistently check in with yourself to see how you feel. Your thoughts become your feelings, which become your beliefs, which shape your reality. If you are feeling great, it’s a clear sign your thoughts are focused in the right direction.
