Being a mother is one of the most crazy, demanding, stressful and impossible tasks one can experience. It is also one of the most rewarding. Nine years ago, you were placed in my arms. I had never even held a baby, let alone had to keep one alive. Day by day I've watched you grow, not just physically, but intellectually. I've watched you overcome challenges - crawling, then walking, then running, now you're dancing and doing nonstop gymnastics. I've watched you welcome each obstacle with open arms and celebrate your progress. I watch you start each day with boundless energy and excitement about what a new day will bring. I watch you find wonder and marvel at the seemingly ordinary, things most people take for granted. Adults can really learn a lot from children.
